1. Introduction

Kalifora LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a Wyoming limited liability company located at 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA, respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information when you visit the Platform, place an order, or interact with our marketplace services at kalifora.com (the “Platform” or “Website”).

2. Legal Basis and Data Controller

Data Controller. For the purposes of the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Kalifora LLC acts as the Data Controller for personal data collected through the Platform.

Joint Control. Regarding data necessary to fulfill an order (recipient name, delivery address, phone number), Kalifora LLC and the relevant Seller act as joint controllers to the extent required for order fulfillment. The allocation of responsibilities is governed by a separate Joint Controller Agreement.

Legal Basis for Processing (Art. 6 GDPR). We process personal data on the following bases:

  • Performance of a contract — for order processing, payment handling, and delivery coordination.
  • Legal obligation — for tax, customs, and accounting compliance.
  • Legitimate interest — for fraud prevention, Platform security, and service improvement.
  • Consent — for marketing communications, where required by law.
  • Vital interests — in exceptional safety-related situations.

Payment Processor. Payment processing is handled by a third-party certified payment provider. Kalifora LLC does not collect or store full payment card numbers, CVV codes, or user banking details.

3. Information We Collect

A. Information You Provide to Us:

  • Account Data: name, email address, phone number, username, password. The password is stored exclusively in an irreversibly hashed form using modern cryptographic algorithms and is not accessible to Company employees in plain text.
  • Order & Delivery Data: recipient name, delivery address, recipient phone number, order history.
  • Seller Data: business registration details, contact information, payout details.
  • Communications: inquiries, feedback, support messages.

B. Information Collected Automatically:

  • Technical Data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, time zone, device identifiers, pages viewed, clickstream data.
  • Cookies & Tracking Data: information collected via cookies, web beacons, and local storage. See our Cookie Policy for details.

The Company does not collect or process: passport numbers, driver’s license numbers, health data, biometric data, precise geolocation, or full payment card details. We do not classify collected data as “Sensitive Personal Information” under CCPA/CPRA.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use personal data solely for the following purposes:

  • To Provide Services: processing orders, facilitating communication between Buyers and Sellers, managing payments, and fulfilling logistics.
  • Account Administration: registering accounts, providing user support, and delivering transactional notifications.
  • Compliance & Legal Obligations: preventing fraud, complying with international customs laws, and satisfying tax and accounting requirements.
  • Marketing & Communications: sending newsletters, promotional offers, and Platform updates (where permitted by law, subject to your opt-out rights).
  • Platform Security: detecting and preventing malicious activity, fraud, intellectual property violations, and security breaches.

5. Disclosure and Sharing of Personal Data

We do not sell your personal data. We share your information only with third parties in the following circumstances:

  • With Sellers: we share Buyer delivery addresses, names, and order details with Sellers solely to enable order processing and fulfillment.
  • Service Providers: third-party vendors performing services on our behalf, including payment processors, logistics and shipping carriers, cloud hosting providers, customer support tools, and email service providers.
  • Legal Compliance & Safety: when required by law, court order, subpoena, or governmental request, or to protect the safety, rights, or property of Kalifora LLC, its users, or the public.
  • Business Transfers: in connection with any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business by another company.

6. International Data Transfers

Kalifora LLC is based in the United States, and the Platform operates globally. Your personal information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in countries outside of your country of residence (including the US), where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

When transferring data originating from the European Economic Area (EEA), UK, or Switzerland, we ensure adequate safeguards are in place:
